Itinerary:

Day 01: Kathmandu

You will be arriving at Kathmandu on this day. Our representative from Beyul will be there to receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Bandipur

The drive from Kathmandu takes 4-5  hours.  You will meet your guide and porter at the lunch place.  You will also have time to explore this village.  We will then hike for three hours.  There is an initial descent followed by a walk through the valley which is either forested or farmed.  There are several hamlets and schools along the route.  The final 40 minutes involve a steady climb and reach an altitude of 1011m or 3316ft.  After settling into your room and having a hot shower, drinks will be served around the central fireplace.  Dinner will be served in the dining room.

Day 03: Bandipur

You will be woken with a cup of tea or coffee in your room. If the mountains are clear, you can sit on your private veranda and enjoy the spectacular mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu.  After breakfast, we will set off to visit two local schools en route passing large orange groves.  Other options include a walk to a higher peak from where there are mountain views to the North and views to Chitwan in the South.  After lunch at the lodge, we will visit two local villages.  To date, few tourists have visited this area so it retains much of its charm.  Many Gurkhas have been recruited from these villages over the years and we will also visit the house of one of these retired Gurkhas.

Day 04: Seti River Camp

After breakfast, we leave the lodge and trek for three hours to the Seti River Camp.  Which is located on a riverbank overlooking the Seti river which is situated at an altitude of 270m or 886ft. The trail follows a ridgeline before a one-hour descent to the river.  Lunch will be at the camp with the afternoon free to explore the riverbank or relax.  Drinks are served around the fire followed by dinner in the central dining room.

Day 05 and Day 06: Chitwan National Park

This morning bid goodbye to your guide & porters. After breakfast, we begin our rafting trip which will last around 2 ½ hours.  Most of the river is afloat with the guide doing all the work with his back oars.  There are four rapids that can be classed as between 2 and 2 plus.  Each lasts no more than one minute.  You will have plenty of time to enjoy the unspoiled riverbank with all its birdlife.  Cameras can be stored in the boat drums so you can use these in the quieter stretches.  On completion of the rafting at Gaighat, towels are provided for you to dry off and you can change.  You will be picked up by your vehicle & driven to Chitwan (a journey of about 1.5 hours.) On arrival at the resort, we will receive a briefing prior to an afternoon safari or nature walk.

Day 07 and Day 08: Pokhara

You will drive to Pokhara from Chitwan which takes around 4-5 hours’ drive. Pokhara is the heavenly city that has lots to offer. From the mesmerizing view of Annapurnas to the beautiful lakes, this city is not to be missed whenever you are in Nepal. Moreover, Pokhara is also famous for adventure sports like Paragliding and Bungy jumping. After driving to Pokhara, we can just stroll around the lakeside, while on the next day you will be driving to Peace Stupa for the sunrise view and explore more of Pokhara during the day. Nevertheless, the nightlife in Pokhara is one of the beloved activity by every tourist.
